LOUISE GOUËT

Louise Gouet is an illustrator from the South coast of England. She is inspired by natural landscapes, flora and fauna. Her work is rooted in observational drawing and she loves to go location drawing with her sketchbook. She carries this, with a vast array of coloured pencils, everywhere with her just in case. To make her illustrations, she uses a combination of painting and drawing, with gouache layered with coloured pencils and wax pastels, allowing for a rich variety of textures. She likes to use warm, vivid colours to capture a joyful mood.
