Screen printing is a very old printing technique (10th century) which uses a system of stencils (or "screens"), allowing to realize drawings by superimposing layers of colors, each stencil corresponding to a color.

Born in Fukushima, Japan. Kazuko Matt first studied international relations at Tusda College in Tokyo, before discovering her interest in art and music. She studied graphic design in London and now illustrates magazines and children's books in Japan. Her work often includes humorous animals and handwriting.
