"Isabelle Rodde is a self-taught artist from Paris who draws interiors in which one visually wants to curl up, which invite to decompress, to dream.... Her drawings are liberated with a delightful freedom of proportions while remaining faithful to their source of inspiration. These are born during distant trips or beautiful escapes of proximity, of a glance posed on pretty objects, of the discovery of the decoration of a hotel abroad, of the atmosphere of a rural flea market or the original framework of a Parisian store. Thus was born, step by step, line by line, the series "Mes petits intérieurs", which "have for common denominator to be comforting universes where I felt well sheltered" explains the illustrator."
