EMILIE SANDOVAL

Graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris in animation cinema and studied video at the School of Visual Art in New York. She is a director (short films, clips, animation series) but also a cartoonist (press, comics, children's publishing, exhibitions). She also teaches video at LISAA Paris.

In her animated films as in her drawings, Emilie likes to sketch everyday scenes with a touch of humor and tenderness. Her style of drawing with pen and watercolor is refined and delicate. She focuses on the attitude of her characters, the accuracy of their expression and points out small details of the ordinary which then become extraordinary.
