CHARLINE COLETTE

After growing up in the Franche-Comté countryside, Charline Collette studied printmaking at the École Estienne, comics at the EESI in Angoulême, painting at the Beaux-Arts in Paris, illustration at the Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg and Political Science at the IEP in Strasbourg. Since completing her studies, she has devoted herself entirely to writing and painting. Her comic strip Au bois was awarded the Prix Révélation Livre Jeunesse by the ADAGP, and her albums have been translated into many languages. Her next two children's books will be published by Thierry Magnier and Albin Michel respectively. She also produces illustrations for a range of clients, including the Palais de Tokyo, Louis Vuitton, the 2024 Olympic Games, Le Monde and Libération. In addition to her work in the visual arts, she runs a number of workshops with a variety of audiences, and has been a lecturer in illustration at the Geneva School of Art and Design.
