BENJAMIN GRAFMEYER
Maintenance Wednesday November 6 at 9pm: the website will be unavailable for 1 to 2 hours
Graduated in graphic design from the fine arts school of Rennes, fascinated by the tools of artisanal printing, Benjamin Grafmeyer has tied his plastic and graphic approach to that of a screen printer.
These strings are brought to vibrate all together to realize his prints.
Exploring the link between sound and visual vibration, he has found through silk-screen printing a tool for graphic translation.
Strata of inks, particular games of tints, random compositions; each matrix is issued from particular graphic systems allowing moiré effects.
These lines are superimposed several times, in order to obtain vibrations and desired colored masses.
In parallel to this experimental practice, Benjamin Grafmeyer explores a graphic practice around the visible and the readable while collaborating on projects of printed editions.
